Like the 83 751 Essen, this
car belongs to the "Donnerbüchsen" design and is our newest access. We
acquired it in autumn 2005 from a museum railway near Nuremberg. In
the next few years, it is to be refurbished as operational as a 3rd
class passenger car. It is noteworthy with this vehicle that the
original separation in the middle of the car with the two toilets as
well as the wooden cladding on the walls in the interior were left
during the conversion to a constructiontrain wagon. Roller shutters
like it is at the 85 025 Münster was also not installed. Thus, we can
save ourselves a time-consuming reconstruction of these parts as well
as the car body. In the long term, we plan to restore the wagon in its
delivery condition with 3rd class wooden slatted benches.
